Hi, folks-- Since several people asked me to post the little hair painting tutorial i did today, i've put it together on my site, and posted it to the Tutorials section, too. i would appreciate comments for expanding or improving that tutorial, as it may be a little *too* terse for some--if it's not too much trouble, and at your convenience. Rather interesting. I can see where if I was doing something that was going to be oil-like this would be very useful. I think it's also a solid base for doing something with more "definition" or "realism." I like it. Thanks for putting it up. :)

vey cool tutorial. I like it alot. I also like the style. Nice and crisp. I'm not a huge fan of the smeared look you can see alot of with smudged hair. I like the crispness and classic style. It does remind me of a museum piece. I have a hard time doing hair in one piece. But your tutorial is very clear. I have an unsteady hand so I use drop shadow myself alot when painting pieces and strands. Once I get a ppiece I like I dupe it and flip and reuse. I did that in my gallery image called "Bat in Blue Satin". For me it adds the sharpness I like. Thanks for the tutorial. I love reading new ones.
