is this forum only open to those members who have or will have items for sale thru the marketplace? or can anyone with poser stuff of interest to renderosity members post announcements here?

Try it. This is a new forum. The rules are not yet set in stone, we will see what works and what not. There was a thread some day ago. Someone from Renderosity said that they don't mind, if the product in question is from another Marketplace. And I think nobody will slam you, if you announce some free stuff. Everybody likes that. ;)

If it is a 'for sale' item regardless of where it is sold, I say go for it. Telling folks about Free stuff availabe in here I not 100% happy with. If everyone starts posting their free offerings in here then for sale stuff will get buried. No one objects to announcements of free stuff in other forums and this is the only place merchants regardless of where they sell can post. I would like to see this kept purely for marketing of items for sale.

This forum is not for Renderosity MarketPlace products only. Please feel free to advertise your DAZ, BBay, 3D Commune, etc...products in here. :) Clint
