HEY GUYS, I HAVE A PROJECT THAT WILL REQUIRE A BRICK ARCH OVER A WINDOW AND I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY SUCCESS WITH THEM COMING OUT RIGHT. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

have you gone to bill munns gallery? He has a tut on creating a brick arch.

Yeah... draw it in photoshop/PSP as a "white-is-high, black-is-low" map... the shape of the arch in white on a black background with the inset mortar lines in a light gray. and import it as a picture into a symetrical lattice . Best to make it a 1024/1024 image and set the "grid size" in Bryce to match. A bit of resizing and the texturing... At this point, I would export as obj and map in UVMapper... Unless you want to try to get the distinction between to mortar and bricks right in the DTE... Ouch. Any ideas?
