Please welcome Alpha as the new Moderator of the PhotoShop forum. Some of you may know him from the photography forum. Alpha has been using PhotoShop since version 2 and brings with him a wealth of knowledge. He also has some great plans for the forum that will bring it to a new level. Welcome, Alpha! Well, I gotta admit, I don't use Photoshop, but if I did, you'd be my first choice of people to bug with stupid questions. :)

Thanks for the welcome...

For those who don't know me, I am a professional photographer living in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York, in the USA. In my current position with Cornell University, I do both still and video photography for a group of about 90 scientists at a research facility. In addition, I do fine art photography, and montage work that I have just started selling through some public galleries in the area.

In the past I have worked as a photojournalist, and had my own graphic design company where I did a combination of photography, catalog design, advertisement work and web design.

While I am no stranger to Photoshop, I do not claim to know everything. I am hoping that together we can all learn, share and grow as artists, and as friends.

Please feel free to contact me about with any suggestion, and/or ideas you might have on how to make this forum a more valuable resource for us all.
