... and it's a tie! Boy. Do we have some *demented* people out there... if the results of this were any indication. Given the restraints (" no post work ", in particular), the work submitted was great fun and a tough call. But there were two that really struck me, so I'm calling it a tie between them. Congratulations, DMENTIA and DMTYLER. Everyone who submitted an image: send me your e-mail, as there's a little something headed your way just for having the guts to enter. Dmentia and Dmtyler, check the note about the Grand Prize, then get back to me with your options for the name you want on the certificate and which character you want the t-shirt texture to fit. If you have a photo, email it to me at virtuasite@aol.com, and I'll start working on incorporating you two into the next *special edition* of the Backstage Series. To everyone: thanks for playing -- and I suggest everyone take a look at the submissions, only to see what can be done with three completely unrelated objects, no post work, and a lot of imagination and talent. I'm gonna do this again in the summer. Be forewarned............

"I'd like to thank the Academy and all the little people I stepped on to get up here ... what's that? I didn't win? Oh." * is escorted/dragged from stage * Way to go, Dmentia and dmtyler! VirtualSite, which of dmtyler's entries was the winner? The laptop-using horse, or the alien-abduction horse?

Laptop using horse. Know what I liked about it? The rhythm. It had real movement around the frame, augmented by the aura prop in the background. And it was a cool use of the pose as well.

LOL!!! Oh my gosh, I never expected this! I entered the contest just because I thought the idea was fun, and I got a lot of chuckles out of everyone's renders! Thanks everyone for the congrats - you all did such a great job with the renders, and it goes to prove what very talented (and creative) people we have here. VS - certificate to Denise "Dee" Tyler - and lessee -- can the Tshirt fit Vicki, please? Thanks (hehehehehehe! Truly flustered). Denise
