Subject: Dxf import

Hi to all ! Two weeks ago I was in holidays with my family, we had snow fun like ski. But at the end I had an health problem, something looking like an heart attack. I went at hospital, staying there during five days. Now all is OK, cause it was just a muscular failure. Ouf ! It's fine to come back here, playing with Vue at home. I would like to post a remark concerning Dxf import in Vue 2 (don't know if the same exist for later versions). Strange thing, I noticed that importing an object cause sometime this object looking damaged in Vue (some mesh elements lacking, or bad looking mesh). But if I delete this object, and then I import it again, then it looks fine and perfect !!! What is that, is it a known problem ? Yves

I don't know, Yves... I never tried Vue 2, but if you found a way around it, that's good at least. Sorry to hear you hurt yourself, but it's VERY good to hear it wasn't an actual herat attack. :) Be careful!

Glad you're doing okay, Yves! Vue v.2 was my first version, and I used the DXF import frequently. Never ran into the problem that you describe. Very strange that it'll work fine when imported the second time, very strange. Possibly some file got corrupted along the way. I'd suggest try re-installing and see if it clears it up. Don't Un-install first; just install over the current installation. That way, you shouldn't lose any of the presets you've added. And, I don't know if that will clear it up. I'm just venturing a guess. :)
