I've been playing w/ Poser for about three months now, and I feel like maybe I'm finally good enough to post here. I just put an image up in the Poser gallery--I'd really appreciate any and all feed back you-all can give. TIA (and Hi!), Orphea

Here's your program so you can identify the players... And your Secret Decoder Ring... And the Secret Handshake... Now: be afraid. Be very afraid.

Penguinisto ( ) posted Mon, 25 February 2002 at 2:13 PM

'lo! No worries about being 'good enough' to post... I positively suck at rendering, so you're in good company :) /P

orphea ( ) posted Mon, 25 February 2002 at 2:15 PM

Hi guys! Thanks! I am SO afraid, VirtualSite. I'll just be real quiet and try not to p*** anybody off! :]

Hiram ( ) posted Mon, 25 February 2002 at 2:17 PM

Heck yeah your good enough to post here! Welcome! One tip: use the nudity/violence button when including an image or link when appropriate. I browse here when I'm at work (goofing off)and I'd get in big trouble if the wrong person walked by when I was lookin' at virtual boobies. Thanks!

orphea ( ) posted Mon, 25 February 2002 at 2:19 PM

Woops! Sorry! I thought I clicked that thing... but I sure will from now on!

SAMS3D ( ) posted Mon, 25 February 2002 at 2:24 PM

Hey orphea, it is nice that you posted your picture....you should never feel that you are not good enough. Nice to meet you and very nice picture. What made you think of this composition? Sharen

Wow! Thanks!! I guess when I look at it, all I see are the mistakes :( Sharen--I was just sort of playing with the girl and the horse, and I realized she looked like she was being chased!

waving Hiya! Nice to have you on board! Britt PS VERY nice render! :)

Welcome to the madness. ;o)

Penguinisto ( ) posted Mon, 25 February 2002 at 2:55 PM

Heh - you kidding? You did a far, far, far, far better job than I would've (I'm better at the non-organic stuff - people and animals are to squishy and lumpy for my tastes ;) Point is - please don't ever think you're not 'good enough' - that's what holds 99.9% of the population back from achieiving their dreams :) /P

Chailynne ( ) posted Mon, 25 February 2002 at 2:56 PM

Hi. :o) I really like the posing and lighting in the picture. You're way ahead of me already and I've been messing with poser for um... I won't say how long. LOL Welcome to the addiction and madness. ;)

Greetings, We move around far too much to be a "monkey farm" (farms have neatly irrigated rows and correct labels), but VirtualSite may not have wanted to leave open the punning potential of "monkey ranch". Welcome! Carolly

VirtualSite ( ) posted Mon, 25 February 2002 at 3:11 PM

Except I think it's a given we definitely put out a bumper crop of 'em, Carolly! =)

Strangechilde ( ) posted Mon, 25 February 2002 at 8:24 PM

Hi Newbie! Welcome! Don't be scared! I've been posting degenerate B&W images for weeks and nobody's bitten me. They hvave given me helpful advice. Anyway, how does anyone improve, except by going to the masters and saying 'I'm rubbish at this! Fix me!' That's my strategy anyway. :) That's a lovely imagethe hair is better than lots I've seen, and the colours are wonderful. The body positioning is very nice as well. You have an eye for it! I just wish I could see the horse's head... whenever I see images of people on horses, it seems that they are not alone. But she looks to be alone, because I cannot see the horse's face.
