Subject: Help with ISO stuff

I have downloaded his microsuit for Vicki. It ends up saying cannot load blah blah blahISO_V_cloth.obj

I looked at the cr2 and it lists the cr2 file with a colon
:IS0_V_cloth.obj I finally just copied the entire folder (it's all in one folder in the D/L) and it still doesn't work.

I have the same problem with some of the parts of his Kimono. Some parts load and some dont, and they are all in the same folder.

Any tips anyone?? PLEASE

Donna

If you have placed everything as it's supposed to be and you still have problems then delete the object's rsr's. Poser will then recreate a new one when you first load the figure. Now go back and make those new rsr's read only. This way you won't run the risk of having them get corrupted again.

There are no rsr files. Must be made in propack, only png files. What next???

No, not the rsr's which show the figure but the rsr that is created from the .obj when it is first loaded. If there aren't any rsr files with the same name as the .obj files check your paths again and be sure the name of the folder is exactly the way it is specified in the cr2. I have all of ISO's stuff and it works so there really isn't any other reason why this could be happening. Corrupt .rsr's would be the only explanation if some parts of the kimono are showing and some not. Another possibility for the kimono is that it needed an additional download for parts that were shared for both kimonos. Are you sure you downloaded all the files?

The object file has to be in the character files. I have never seen any where the obj file doesn't have to be in the geometries files. Microsuit is working -Now - going to move the kimono stuff to the character file.

There is a link on his page to common files needed for the kimono or other stuff. Maybe you missed to download these? I had the same problems, went back to his site and found the missing files.

They'll work. I don't know why they didn't load for me at first either, but whenever something won't load even though .obj is in the correct location, I first try deleting the geometries .rsr and if that doesn't help, I'll just rename the .obj and edit the .cr2 so that it points to the new .obj. For some odd reason that helps. The item will still tell me it can't load the .obj (usually) but the clothing item appears anyway. Then I'll just resave it to the library and the problem is gone :)
