I've downloaded some 3ds files from Greylight to use with poser 3. However I'm having trouble scaling them to fit my Poser characters. Is it just a case of trial and error or is there some advice you could give me?

When you import, try unchecking the "standard figure scale" box. If checked, Poser rescales the model to approx human height which will probably be incorrect. Hopefully, the models will have been correctly scaled when they were created. If this doesn't help then trial and error is the only way... but the dials are quite accurate for adjusting such things.

... send me an email and I will send you (via return email) a FREE set of my "Scale" props that allow you to measure and scale anything in the Poser studio to the exact inch or millimeter. geep@cybertrails.com cheers, dr geep ;=]

There's a few rulers in freestuff here, too.
