Subject: RSR thumbnail question...

Programming question... Does anybody have information on how to read the RSR format for the thumbnail pics. Are they just bitmaps, or another graphic format?

I think the format is pict.

Wasn't there an URL to a BMP-to-RSR converter posted here some time back? :/ Mike

Yes, but the contributor removed it for updates. It was a pict to RSR converter as I recall.

The RSR file is basically a PICT with a little bit of extra data. If you want the PICT/RSR Converter, which converts both ways, then e-mail me. I'm working on a version that will allow you to create a 'transparent' RSR so that it looks right in the library. I'm still decoding the PICT file to determine how.

Philfoss, I don't have your email address. Can you email me the specs. I'm writing an accessory program that needs to read RSR pics. It would be very much appreciated.
