Subject: Posable tree?

Is there a posable tree where you can add branches to make it fuller or barer?

I have several that I've made to props from x-frog. They were free trees in x-frog, - and I converted them to .obj files. Problem is that I don't know if I can re-distribute them. I didn't model them, - so obviously I don't own the mesh. I did convert them to obj format and then to Poser props. Maybe somebody knows the copyright rules for that. Britt

Try at www.3dcafe.com in the free section then plugins/programs section (its on teh rigth hand column in the main window) on page 4 I think there is a free tree program, it is quite good at making tree's that can be imported into poser. I am not too sure what it is called but it shouldn't be too hard to find.

Anton had a poseable tree at DAZ. You can make it thinner or fuller to taste.

Just to add my endorsement. Thomas's tree might not be posable, but it is a super tree, and I use it lots since he kindly sent it to me. Leaves are super realistic.

The greatest part of wisdom is learning to develop  the ineffable genius of extracting the "neither here nor there" out of any situation...."
