Hi all, I just posted 4 animations created with Poser 4. I was hoping some of you might come and check them out. Be warned, I had to zip them to bring down the file sizes some, one is 6.90 mbs zipped but the rest are pretty reasonable. These were my first real attempts at animating with Poser. Hi

I checked out your animations. Thought you did a nice job on them. Wish my first tries at animating with Poser would have come out this good. Did you use Mimic for the lipsinc? Are these all rendered in Poser?

I really like your title animation. Neat effect having the title seem to appear from the eye.

I think the nomad needs more emphasis <--can't spell) when he is speaking. I thought you did a good job with the facial movements, but the body needs to do something too.

The walk looks like a walk from the walk designer. I had a hard time trying to tell if she was shooting and what or where she was shooting. I took the video into Premiere to take a little closer look at it frame by frame and it looks to me like she is shooting at the ceiling of the hallway and there is also no real movement of the arm holding the weapon. The aim is always the same place.

Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this. As I said earlier, I wish my first attempts would have been this good.

Thank you for the advice and the kind words. Yup, they were all rendered in Poser 4. And you're right, the lipsinc was done with Mimic. I basically got it to shorten production time. But I realize now that it's no substitute for good ol' fashioned tweaking after the fact. I really just did these first ones to see if I could get all the elements, animation, sound effects, and music together into something half-way decent. Thanx again Jos
