Subject: Mac Poser Props...

Before anyone jumps on me for this question, I spent an entire night searching for these. Does anyone know where to find Macintosh computer poser props? I guess I could settle for a Wintel pc prop if I had to, but I could not find any of those that were any good.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx

You can download a classic iMac in .3ds format at 3D Cafe.

There was a tibook around a year ago at the First Russian poser site, I don't have the URL though. If you can make your own you could go to Appel Product page (under Quicktime examples) for QTVR or MOV files to start with.

I did not think to search for the cube. And I did find the notebooks, but the project I am working on is for my web page and I need a desktop. Thanx for all the help guys and gals. I will search for these as well...

Well the First Russian Poser site is a dead link. So I checked out the 3D Cafe link and found a plethora of computers in 3DS. I will thry them. Willf2, I have heard others suggess that other members make the items they seek, what would I need to make items on a Mac? Any suggestions? Thanx again for the help!

A good modelling program capable of exporting in .obj format. I'm not the best at modelling sometimes, but I use Amapi a lot -- even though the interface is a bit daunting at first. Failing that, you could build something in Strata that could be imported into Amapi and then exported in the .obj format.

Yes, you can get Amapi & Pixels3D (I think) free versions for MAC. Also see this link for several other free/shareware MAC apps: http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=515693 There are a couple others but don't have the links handy.
