Hi !

My entry for the challenge is on its way...

Concerning the "modeling" part of the exercise, I'm currently working on a "magic box". This one was entirely created in VUE using boolean operations, custom bump & transparency maps.
I'm not totally satisfied with it. Anyway, you'll see the "final" version of this model in the scene I'm creating for the challenge (hope I'll be able to finish it in time!).
Until then, if you have advices...

Eric

Oh man, that is AWESOME, Eric! It reminds me of the thing in the Hellraiser movies. Great job, and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

That is so cool, I love the box and lights coming out. Did you create the box, very cool, and the floor is just perfect Sharen

Looks superb! And just to show my film geek credentials, the puzzle box in Hellraiser was called a 'Lament Configuration'.

It's not going to let any nasties out is it? And Pinface isn't hanging about in the background? Nice job, like the way the light shines out of it.

"Do not solve puzzles that open portals to Hell". This is the Lament Configuration alright. The way I remember it, it was more black and gold, but this one is great too.
