Anyone know where I can find modern building models for free? My boss asked me to help with a presentation I need modern buildings for ASAP.... this is my chance to be known as the "artist" in the company. Woot! Thanks!

Black Market Render for a seedy, run-down building and storefront.

Chemical Studios for assorted buildings, stores, skyscrapers, etc.

3D Cafe for a wide variety of structures in .3ds and .dxf formats.

greatbuildings seem to have great stuff there :) just downloaded chartres cathedral and collosseum - now the problem: when importing poser complains that the file format version is newer and maybe incompatible. then poser hangs. is there a conversion tool (3dmf file format to obj or 3ds or dxf ??) available ?? thanks :) joekurz

You could try the free DesignWorkshop lite (see link). The chartres is a DW-model I think. :-)
