George Deep, is giving away this great T-Rex model he made for Poser. I assume it's for Poser 4 only, but it might work in Poser 3, though I don't know. But it does of course have a .OBJ file of it that, while not poseable, can still be used in Vue. Anyway, it's a really nice model, and comes with an equally nice texture. :)

Thanks MikeJ, I am going to go check it out now. One can never have too many poser figures. (: Genny

The cool thing about it is, this is the best T-Rex I've ever seen, and all it's fingers, toes and claws can even be posed, and the mouth opens and closes too.

You are right, MikeJ, it is something! I normally don't care too much for dinosaurs, but this one is really, really, Grand! For all of you guys who may not have Poser yet, download it now, and save it for "if" and "when" you do get Poser. You won't regret it, and Like Mike says, it does have an object file, so you will be able to use it in Vue. Genny

Ok George. Hey! Y'all stop talkin' about George, and that's an order! That should do it. ;)

Is it alowed ,Major Mike ;) to talk about the T rex? Is it normal that the texture does not work in Vue? He is al spotted over with the peaces of T rex and white ;( Myske

Myske, if you're just importing the .OBJ into Vue and then applying the texture to it, you have to set a value of -1 to the Y scale of the texture, and it will fit then.

OK thanx . I will try when I'm home. Myske

It worked ;)) Thanx a lot again... Myske

No problem, Myske. :) I think it might have something to do with Vue having the Y and Z axes different than in many other programs, but you will ALWAYS need to make the Y scale -1 when applying a UV mapped texture to an imported .OBJ file. You don't need to do that with the Poser 4 .PZ3 file import though.
