Here I am watching cartoons this morning(yes I am 45 and love cartoons) and I turned on a cartoon and the people in it look an awful lot like posers. The cartoon is " Roughnecks,Starship Troopers Chronicles" It is on at 7:30am pst, has anyone else seen it?

Yes I have and it is amazing stuff. I dont think it is Poser but it does look very similar... It is a quantum leap past some of the earlier CG programs....what was that other one, 'Circuit Breaker' or something that was very primitive by comparison. The Starship Trooper episodes I have seen approach close to reality on several occasions although, since they spend much of each story apparently on alien worlds with alien levels of lighting, this probably helps a lot with the visual acceptability of it. But you are right, it is pretty good stuff... Scarab<-Likes "Pinky and the Brain" too......

StarTroopers is done in Lightwave by Ron Thornto's Foundation Imaging. Not Poser I would almost guarantee, but Poser could look just as good,. (with a different renderer). The other you're probably thinking of is called "Reboot". There are a couple more, in order of coolness War Planets, Beast Wars, & Voltron, & So Weird. War Planets is as cool as Troopers, I think by same company as Reboot.
