Subject: Glass Question

I've seen and used a lot of props in Poser containing glass windows, suddenly become curious as to how this transparent effect is achieved. Perhaps the modellers could give some insight. Thanks, Tommy.

the material editor turning one of the mateials in a obj/3ds transperant you use the max and min trans and fall off and viloa! glass. to see this first hand go get my urban kit(free) and see for your self how it is done, or rather the way i do it.

Just keep in mind that without a raytraced rendering engine, Poser 4 can't do stuff like real reflections and refractive effects. You can create transparent glass in Poser, but not glass that reflects or bends light.

Go to the link above and read the tutorial on making a figure transparent like glass. A human figure is being used as an example, but you can do the same for any object. Maxx :-)

Thanks guys, you have me itchin' to give it a try. I read the tutorial but slightly confused with its layout, perhaps I should print it as a reference then experiment a little. Regards,Tommy.
