When i arrived at the office, there was a sign that said "back in 10 minutes". I waited for a few minutes, and the woman came walking down. She said "Is that (the portfolio box) for me?" me- Yup her- ok, wait, -looks over the mammoth monster-, you're not really handing this in are you? me- -very nervous now, suspecting i did something horribly wrong- umm yeah, this is it. yup- dear lord... are you sure? me- -freaking out right now in my head- yup, im sure... her- dear god its so big! me- does size matter? -i laughed really hard inside when i said that- her- well, no, but i have no idea where im gonna be able to put it. me- ummm, did i do something wrong? her- no its okay, have a seat. minutes later, she brings something up her- this reminds me of something we got from a student last year. Made a gigantic portfolio out of steel. I sliced my leg on the edge right here. me- my friend Ryan Oberfield is the culprit. her- oh, u two know eachother then? -me- you could say that. her- I see, you guys hang out in evil clans thinking of ways to give me and my spine arthritis then eh? me- I guess that could be considered a design flaw. her- -giggles- all in all, im quite happy with the way it turned out. I told myself that I was gonna make a portfolio so fllucking good, that they wouldn't have a choice in the matter. Either let me in, or let no one in. I rarely toot my own horn, but I dont see them letting no one in, so I should be attending Concordia University next year in the Specialization in Digital Image/Sound in the Fine Arts Bachelor program (quite a mouth full). My second choice is Design Art, which waws originally my first choice, but the Specialization program is brand new, first semester its being offered, and I couldnt resist. In 8 months, I'll be making video games, music videos, flash websites, and claymations up the wazoo. ry

Good luck! Maybe one day I'll register for a course so my sad, sad images can one day be semi decent.

Slynky, I am really impressed with this whole on-going story. They better let your ass in!

....serioiusly though, congrats man. Sounds pretty cool. I had a friend (haha) that turned in 2 GIANT glass abstracts/photo montage type deal?? ( you'd have to see it to understand what I'm talking about) totally awkward and sharp....but very cool. ....your story triggered a memory.....

Cool, man - at least she didn't kick off about it, so that's a very good sign!! Gud Luck, and I hope you get there! (",) btw, how did Mr. Oberfield do last year, just out of interest? Was his successful?
