Hi all, I was at the "other poser forum" and just learned that Zygote is coming out with the Millenium Babe. She is the Posette for the Next Century. More vertices in places you want em, the face has much more in the way of vertices so you can do crows feet, wrinkles, and other things. Plus it will alow for more realistic movement and morphing. Sounds really neat. It should be out by February or so save yer pennies, this looks like one to get! Nick

Great. Any word on a replacement for the infamous "POSER DORK"?

They're also releasing the centaur that is compatible with their bow on Friday!!

Er, what exactly is the "Poser Dork"?

Rorschach - The Poser male figure is affectionately called the Poser dork because without a decent, reworked texture map he looks "dorky." Hope this helps!

The plan is to work on the male version of the new model after the woman is released. There are a few folks that are VERY busy with it... One in particular... -Rob

...I just had to re-buy Poser!! I'm gonn be broke again after this come out... She had BETTER be worth it.

SnowSultan ( ) posted Thu, 13 January 2000 at 11:55 PM

She had also better accept all the great morphs and P4 texture maps that everyone on the forums have created for her...or I for one am sticking with Mimi and Nene. ;) SnowS Hoping his pictures are worth 1001 words.

I do not speak as a representative of DAZ, I speak only as a long-time member here. Be nice (and quit lying about DAZ) and I'll be nice too.

Probably not Snow. Since they did say that they are adding more vertices to allow more detailed morphs. I hope they price it so it can be affordable enough for everyone. Please no more 50 dollar models. Maybe a non-morphed version...hmmmm

Yes, this isn't really all that new of news for those that attended the SIPHIGRAPH(can't spell the damn thing) convention last year, when they started work on her. I talked with Chad and Dan Farr a month or so ago and they told me that it was molded off of an actual female model and will be very detailed. They will be splicing the body different to fix some of the P4 female problems. All-in-all, I was excited by this news, though they were unsure (at the time) when she would be finished. Seems that they have a rough idea now and if I find out more, I will let you know. Jack

Whoo hoo, that is excellent news. I hope that we can kiss goodbye to those ugly "creases" you sometimes get at the elbow and knee. And I'd really like a replacement for Mr. D Ork as well :) Paul Shoving pennies into a jar so he can buy the new figure
