I was wondering if there is anyway to make a floor in poser...as in adding a texture? I tried to follow some directions I read somewhere but that just didnt work. Here are the directions...1. Open Material Menu or (PRESS CRTL U) 2. Select Ground on the object panel. Select "Preview" on the Material Panel. 3. Press the load button at the Texture Map box. 4. Load the selected Poser Floor from the installition location on your Hard drive. 5. Keep the Texture strength at 100%. 6. Press the OK button at the bottom right hand side of the Surface Material panel. Any help is so appreciated! Thanks.

Did you try to render the picture after you loaded your texture? If the display style is "Smooth Shaded", the floor won't show the texture until you render it. If you want to see the pattern on the ground while you're working, you can choose "Texture Shaded" (CTRL-9). I hope this helps! :)

Also you may need to turn the ground plane on in the Hierachy. I always use a one sided square from the props, and put a texture on that. You can make it whatever size you want.

Ok I got the ground to work, but these myseterious "splotches" have turned up on my figure...NO idea where they came from OR how to make them go away. Anyone seen anything like this before?

Just an additional note, before rendering that top "splotch" is mint green not black... :) Thanks

Those look like the hidden parts of the clothes geometry which are used for conforming. These always show up in Bryce and have to be deleted one by one... but to see them in Poser? Don't know why?! Did you make the "neck" part of the tunic visible in the heirarchy editor?

Not sure..but I ended up changing the clothing anyhow. But before I did I clicked on those parts and went to object properties and unchecked visible and they went away. lol Dont know if thats the right way, but it worked. Thanks for the reply though. :)
