Subject: Can flash link up with database?

for example, i created a game in flash and i need to link it up with the database to capture score of user and at the same time the user are able to retrieve info from the database. Basically sending and receiving info from the database.....please help...:)

Im Sure this can be done
it would probably require alot of advanced JAVA and HTML Skills.

Yes, I believe you can action-script the Flash File to send and recieve to another file. Like when I was scripting games in mIRC, you could write to an .ini (forsay) and read from that ini file the specific section you require. Also save stats.. However, there is definatly a way to do what you ask, i'm not sure if it's in another file or what, it's simple Variables. Try looking around, Flash-kit has some stuff, if it's a really nice game, and you think people will really like it, you might want to buy a book that teaches you about games and everything in flash you can use with them. =)
