Hi Everyone,

I ran across a tutorial (some of you may know about) where you can use a projector to scan lines onto a person's face, take pictures and then use the lines to create a 3d model of the face in Rhino. What I would like to try to do, if possible, is create a 3d model of my son's face (age 7) and then somehow either make it into a Poser character or use the model to make morphs of an already existing child, like the P4 boy or the Millenium Boy or Girl. Any ideas on how or even if I could accomplish this?

I've tried a couple of different methods of using a photo of him and trying to morph an existing face, but didn't have much luck. Maybe I just don't have the skills yet to do that accurately. Unfortunately, Still to Real sucks.

Thanks,

Joan
