Spring must be close; my daffodils are always the first to kick things off. This was early last week, before the big freeze by weeks end that wilted them a bit. Glad I got em when I did!

Lucky you. Mine are only two inches tall!

So beautiful they tell us abot spring. You are lucky, I have not even looked at mine, have not got the thought they dare to come up yet. But tomorrow I will examine my garden.

Well, it depends on your climate as to when they come up. When I lived on the Gulf Coast, they came up about 3 weeks before they do here in Tennessee. But it is cool how they announce the coming of spring. This fall (when the bulbs are available in the stores) I'm gonna plant a million of 'em!

Wonderful pic - I love daffodils, they just scream "Spring!" When my daughter was a baby we lived in a house that had a hill in the backyard where daffs had naturalized for about 10 or 15 years, there were what seemed like millions of them - I could go out and pick 10 or 12 dozen at a time every couple of days and it wouldn't even make a dent in them.....wish I'd had my camera back then, sigh!
