Well, yes, its another damn 'faerie' pic, but I started this right after I bought the Zygote faerie recently and just remembered it was in 'the works' last night. Gosh--several images in the same week for me--I'm on a roll LOLOL. Anyhow, Poser, of course, and standard textures except for one--Tim's I think. The rest is in Bryce--mostly my own textures there. I did a fair amt. of post on this in PSP. Maybe I should have posted this in Bryce, but since the Poser figures play such a large part in the image, this seemed more appropriate. Diane B

great image..have you tried to put transparent wings on them? If you did them in bryce you can use the glass or water textures. It gives them a sheen . Love the look of this. skee

That's just the way I remember it looking on New Years eve right after the third bottle of Verve Clicquot. My favorite is the one sitting on the keys. That one section of the picture all works together so so nicely. jje

Oh, rats, Skee--didn't even think of that when I was doing it. Yes, I know--transparent, glassy, lots of things I could have done. Don't know if I really want to render it again though-we'll see. Diane B

It may be another faerie Pic, but it's a damn fine faerie pic.

Thanks all. Skee, couldn't let it rest--thanks for the reminder about transparencies-how could I forget?. I spent some time on it with bump maps, all that stuff and think I'll rerender this tonight (I decided against the glass or water materials though). I DO like it better--however, I'm hoping VERY much I can slip this new rerender under my other layers and not have to do all the post stuff again S--(I'm just a tad cautious and often save in .psp or psd format until I'm SURE I'm done with my layers). sorry I didn't mean to cause you mental pain, it was just a thought. I can tell all the hard work that went in to this and not mean that the image needed anything more. If I could do the excellent work you do, I would post more images. skee :(

S--no pain, no gain, right?!? I'm just glad you reminded me. I 'raysprayed' the wing areas and like them a lot better-especially the faerie in the foreground. However, I won't post them here again-nobody needs to look at yet another faerie pic (except for Thorne's). I will now have a better image to put in my 'yet to come' gallery on my 'yet to come' web page that I plan to have ready sometime this winter. Thanks again--I put them here for comments--if I didn't welcome criticism I wouldn't do it. I would like to get better--esp. since this is a late night hobby for me, I need all the help I can get LOL. Diane B
