I was in there a few minutes ago and there's nothing on the page but the word "Stephanie" and nothing else. No link, no download. I'm thinking they're either getting ready to put her up, or they've taken her down because of heavy traffic. I guess I'll wait until tomorriw to get her. Melanie

I did a search and found Stephanie around 6:00 Central Time, but they do not have any textures up. I have Stephanie in my shopping basket, waiting on the textures.

Ok. The hi-res textures are up, but the low res are not yet.

Well, I just checked back and there's still nothing but a blank white screen with the word "Stephanie" on the upper left corner. I wonder if the traffic got out of control. Well, there's till time to get her. Melanie

Oh thanks for the heads up. I can't get the textures to come up though, I know the traffic has to horrendous. I guess I'll just have to wait so more.

She's down now, from what I can see. So, those who actually made it in-- does she only take her own textures?? I really need another vacuum cleaner stuck in my checkbook.;-)

I can't get to her from the store page and your link brings up just the blank white screen with Stephanie on it. I tried it in Netscape and IE in case it was a browser issue. Same results. WAHH!

Ok. The standard res textures are up now. Now I can compare standard res to the high res.

Well, I hate to say it but if daz goes down or crashes. it's there own darn fault for creating this feeding frenzy. It's digital folks, its not like their gonna run out, Relax!!!!

The mapping is slightly different then mikes standard mapping.

Has anyone noticed that Stephanie has a mohawk? Traveler, what is different in the mapping? Are the texture templates available now? I will wait until next week to try to get anything from Daz.

Heya Queri, Stephani uses a slightly modified layout of the Michael template. The eyebrows, eyelashes, hip and chest areas are slightly different. Naturally though, to apply most Michael textures to her would remove her feminine look. There are maps for sale for her, but making your own should not be too difficult either, and if you wait a short time I am sure free stuff will have quite a few :) As far as getting her tonight, the site traffic at this stage is so bad that the site pages are unable to load... till a few of us calm down and decide to wait our turn, it could go on this way I am afraid for quite some time.

Well I have been playing with her for a bit now and I have to say that there are some vast improvements over Vicki, the most major one being that she can actually put her arms over her head without generating huge wings at her sides. Your render shows this quite well, Mehndi. =) I haven't fully explored all of the dials, but the better control over musculature will make characters more detailed and distinctive. I am sad that I haven't found a "breast rotate in" dial. I use that a lot on Vicki. In general, a nice character all around. I am disappointed about the texture map situation but I figured there would have to be some sort of a catch. ;)

I just got bloody well through and it says my voucher is invalid!!!!! I got the same thing twice - is anybody else having this problem? Sorry about venting but arrrggghhhh!

BTW nice renders Mhendi, your hair looks lovely :) Is it almost ready yet?

Alla the voucher goes in the gift certificate spot...I found that out too. But it doesn't matter because it poops out on me after I click redeem. :-(

Now that I am done doing testing on Stephanie Alla, I plan to somehow (after a day or two to rest my aching wrists) get this hair finished on out if it kills me and all my beta testers ;) We have ALL waited long enough for it ;)

BTW, for those trying to decide between high res textures and medium res textures, the above renders were done with the med res textures. The lips and eyes are not the ones in the texture set however, and are my own beginning work on a new texture.

I know what you mean about tiring Marque... lord this girl has half killed me, but she has been worth it :) The most challenging and rewarding effort to help so far for me personally, even if I did not get much sleep this past week :)

This is just insane! I cant believe how big Stephanie has become in a matter of hours! Like others I'm sure, Stephanie (with the high res textures) is costing me a night at the bar- oh well, I guess she'll be worth it (if I can ever get through!) But let's not forget about poor Victoria! Render on, kids!
