They will be coming soon. The resource center is just getting started. One of the best places is Adobe's site. They have great resources fopr registered owners.

i hate to burst your bubble, but.... one copy purchased means one copy installed AT ANY TIME... technically, you are running an illegal copy of photoshop on your computer. if it were legal for groups of people to purchase just one copy, an entire company could purchase just one copy, and put it on as many machines as they feel like... (well, there are certain agreements that allow that, but those are called 'per seat' agreements, which doesn't work with the retail, boxed copy of photoshop.) you might want to spend some time reading the license agreement. if you are in doubt, call adobe and ask. they will be happy to explain it to you... i think they've a 1-800 number.

JESUS.. GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE... THIS WHOLE STRAND AND I ONLY GOT 1 REPLY THAT WAS ABOUT THE TOPIC. iF YA AINT GOT ANYTHING NICE TO SAY.. DONT SAY ANYTHING AT ALL K?

audre ( ) posted Fri, 08 March 2002 at 11:20 PM

JESUS.. GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE i didnt remember getting on a horse. i was very sincere in explaining to you that the copy you have is not legal. we are very serious here about that. technically you should be banned from this site by telling everyone you use an illegal copy of photoshop. i gave you the benefit of the doubt and explained the error of your assumptions about software licenses and their legalities. please don't make me think i've made an error in giving you the benefit of the doubt. to answer your original quesiton, i suggest you visit the adobe site, they have some nice resources there for photoshop users. we are working on populating the photoshop forum here as well so i expect plenty of content in a shot time. finally, i suggest you lay off the caffiene, in your case, i think it made you overract just a bit.

Alpha ( ) posted Fri, 08 March 2002 at 11:35 PM

GODspeed... You posted a legitimate question, and you got some legitimate replies. You also got two possible places to look for good tutorials, not one.

The use of illegal software is a concern for everyone. It keeps the price of software higher than it should be for legitimate owners, and users. Having multiple users with one copy is a violation of the license agreement if it is being used on seperate computers simultaniously.

This was pointed out by people who are concerned, in a polite and meaningful way. There is no reason for you to shout, or be disrespectful.

Please consider this a warning. As moderator of this forum I will not tolerate people flaming others for any reason.

If you have any questions, you can e-mail me, or send me an IM via the link at the top of the page.

Thanks
Alpha

yea well... sorry if offended anyone.. i mean jeez... theres only what.. a good.. 1 or so million people on Morpheus and other traders that swap these 1000$ proggys for free... and i had to open my mouth about Paying for a title.. and i get branded.. lol todays such a swell day.. on top of that.. im getting threats of banishment from the Forum god. :sigh: what to do what to do.

Alpha ( ) posted Fri, 08 March 2002 at 11:50 PM

I think you are not understanding that we realize that you paid for this... No one is branding you as anything, just trying to make you aware of how things work. If this was deemed as being a true warez situation, we would not be having this thread right now, and you would have been banned. BTW... Despite popular belief, I am not a god ;-), and a warning is a long way from a threat. Just trying to help, even if it isn't exactly what you want to hear.

GODspeed, Please understand that this site has rules. You might want to re-read the TOS (link). Alpha, Audre and Impudicus Rex simply stated the facts. Alpha has it within his power to ban you for this, but he decided to give you the benefit of the doubt. If I were you, I would drop it. We can drop this topic here or take further steps, it's up to you. Thanks for understanding.

You can't call it work if you love it... Zen Tambour
