Subject: Stephanie and the Tailor

For people who have the Tailor. The tailor program did not accept the Stephanie.cr2(out of bounds) :( So your favorite clothes have no special Stephanie morphes. Mazak

Yupp, I noticed that also. But I hope that CodeTwister can resolve this issure in a later version.

Would I be correct in assuming that the Tailor worked correctly for both of you when you tried the standard Michael figure?

Yup, standard Michael 1 and 2 work ok. Maybe its this sexchange thing. ;P

Load blStephanie.obj in UVMapper and save it using the default settings (Backup and move your original file !!) Now, the Tailor will accept Stephanie ;-)

UVMapper to the rescue! :D Sometimes I wonder it there is anything which UVMapper can't repair.

Man I am still tangled over which ones to copy and which ones to leave. Any hints? Also I would just like to say that I have bragged to many people about how the people here and on the other forums work together to solve problems and come up with amazing things with these programs. So many new ideas have come from the users themselves, I am proud of us. Marque

Hehe, I had the sudden urge to make a animated gif. ;)

sirkrite ( ) posted Sat, 09 March 2002 at 10:53 AM

MadYuri, Think that method would also work on some of the clothes that give the same message? This would sugest it's not the Tailor program that has a flaw, but how some of the clothe obj were UVed.

MadYuri ( ) posted Sat, 09 March 2002 at 11:06 AM

No, I tried some billy-t clothing and this dosen't work. :(

sirkrite ( ) posted Sat, 09 March 2002 at 11:16 AM

The billy-t clothing. Did you try just adding a morph to it anyway and see if it appeared? I found his Angel dress does come up if you do that and works.

MadYuri ( ) posted Sat, 09 March 2002 at 11:30 AM

The Tailor does morph the billy-t clothing. I can also see the effect of the clothing morph inside the Tailor. But when I save the dress the morph isn't in the new clothing CR2. :P

sirkrite ( ) posted Sat, 09 March 2002 at 11:40 AM

Hmmm? I didn't save that one was only testing to see if it worked in Tailor, it work with the WTMSdress that did the same thing. I just assumed it would save it with billy-t's things. I'll have to play with it more later. I do want to try that with Steph. :)

sirkrite ( ) posted Sat, 09 March 2002 at 11:47 AM

It still might not be the program, but the geometry of the clothing.

PhilC ( ) posted Sat, 09 March 2002 at 11:56 AM

MadYuri, many thanks for the Michael.CR2 file. That one works but my copy does not. I can not for the life of me see the difference between them both. I suspect it could be something as simple as a carriage return line. I'm suspect of the UVMapper fix because I tried that and it did not work.

I'm going to forward all this information to Codetwister who I'm sure will have great fun sorting it out :)

Again my thanks for all your input.

Good for you. :) I think The Tailor has great potential. We should make a list of suggestions, I would gladly spend more cash for a Tailor 2 with some more sophisticated algorithms and options.

PLZ ( ) posted Sat, 09 March 2002 at 2:27 PM

Used it to transfer some foot morphs to Stephenie from Vickie2.

macmullin ( ) posted Sat, 09 March 2002 at 3:21 PM

I just purchase "The Tail" and I wonder and hope codetwister will put out a free patch or upgrade to clear some of these issues up.

markdc ( ) posted Sat, 09 March 2002 at 9:18 PM

I'm waiting for one of you guys who has been using tailor for a while to put out a good tutorial :) I'll probably buy it soon. I still would like to see him improve a few things, but I'll need it soon.
