Okay. I got the horsetail transmap looking pretty good. But to do it I had to use two tails. I did this but using 2 horse models and making everything but the tail of the second invisible. But what I really want to do is make a poseable tail prop that can be added to a horse to use the trans maps with. I've been through the manual twice and tried everything I can think of but I can't make one in Poser despite the fact that the manual claims you can save portions of the figure as a new figure. Poser is the only 3D program I have. Is there anyway to do this or am I going to have to beg help from one of you good folks who have other 3-D programs?

heya; load up a horse. choose export, obj. select ONLY tail 1-4. load that obj. now you have only the tail. you wanna make it a posable figure in p4... um... then follow the manual steps on doing the hierarchy thing. spawn props or something? (somebody help...?)

I thought I tried that but I may have missed a step or done it in the wrong order. I'll give it a try again tomorrow. If it works I'll post the result with trans maps in the freestuff.

Traveler has a tutorial on how to get just one piece of a character, such as a limb. I dn't see why it wouldn't work for the tail. It's at: http://www.egforum.com/morphworld/tutorials.html Of course, there's other great tutorials there as well.
