Thank you your import, it will always be appreciated - the problem is, I am looking for a short cut to convert clothing (I know... I know...there is no such thing as a short cut in 3D) I recently purchase Michael and Victoria (they are wonderful, and will have their place in my future work), and I have been trying to convert my own P4 characters to Vicky and Mike. I would prefer to use the Vicky and Mike P4 for these upgrades, but I can't get their bodies even close to the nice configurations I had with the my latest morphed-out Eve and UMM, etc. Due to the lack of finding morphs targets for Vicky & Mike P4, I am forced to move up to the nicer and more flexible higher end II figures. Then, one has to contend with the clothing and costumes conversions (sigh)...I starting to come to my wits end or at least the lButtock and rButtock of it. Thanks Dale MacMullin
heyas; short cut for all the centering info: load michael or victoria. turn off all ik. zero the figure (use the jp window button). memorize the figure. save to a new cr2. this is your base conformer, so name it m/v base conformer or something. open the cr2 in text/cr2 editor. delete all morph targets, props, and material entries. save. build clothing object onto base model. slice into the body part groups, yadda yadda. open your base conformer cr2. plug in the obj pointer to your new clothing. save as your clothing cr2. you dont have to edit all the centers by hand, you dont have to build phis or heirarchies and all that other stuff. you just need to create a base conformer cr2 from your target figure. really. maybe tomorrow i can write up the tutorial and put it on my site.

heyas; well, the tutorial is up, now. it really isnt much longer than this ;) but it's where you can find it easily. you can look it up in the tutorials section of this site, or on the goodies page at my place. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. When creating clothing for Victoria or Michael do you have to create a grouping in the clothing for their rButtock and lButtocks to make the clothing conform?
The second question does any one have a numeric chart of their center points, twists, etc, that could be posted? Sometimes, I personally find it easier to edit the text in Cr2 file than from in the Joint Dialog box in poser.
