Home users doesn't mean only 1 machine. Next time you upgrade to a faster machine keep your old one and start building your render farm. Even 'slow' machines due relatively well when they are splitting up the task of a render. I even use this old 333mhz iMac I am on now as part of my render farm for both EIU and Bryce. You'd be amazed at how fast animations and large images can crank out even with 'old' 'slow' machines. Food for thought. Also PCs and Macs depreiciate so fast you are better off keeping them than selling them at a loss.

I have installed Bryce Lightning on my PC. Only to find out that it is a network program? What gives? I dont have a network so im wondering if it's at all possible to install Bryce Lightning on my 2nd hard drive and use it that way or does it require a network connection? This is a damn shame if i cant use Bryce Lightning. If i cant use Bryce Lightning, is there another way i might be able to get the lightning effect? I dont think it would look quite as good if it was simply painted on in PSP or similar programs. Your help is most gratefully appreciated.
