Hey all, I've been working on this for a few days now and I'd like some comments before I start detailing it. Everything was done by me and C. The detail on the legs is about done. I've only roughed out the rest of it. Thanks, -Kix

Very good Kix, but the viewport for the pilot to be a little to long or forward, i yould back it a little bit. The legs are great. Continue this is good modeling. DenisG

Excellent work. You might make the legs thicker, but I suppose you checked screen-captures, and they're actually that thin (laterally compressed).

Really cool, Kix. The legs are awesome (though they do look a little thin to me). I think the main body might be a bit too wide, too, if I'm remembering right. (I used to just stare at the old model kit I'd built after Empire came out back in the early '80's.) And the detail under the legs is a little off, too, although I can't really recall what it's supposed to look like. Are you articulating this for animation? If so, I can't wait to see this bad boy in action. Some lasers, some boomage, you've got a scene! - Dex

AzChip is the second person who's noticed the body being to wide. The trick of it is if I make the body more narrow, the feet get too close together. I'm going to try widening the top of the body before narrowing the bottom of the body to see which part I'm off on. It's hard to tell. Detail in the legs is a little off but that's because I have conflicting references and I'm cutting some corners. I've had a proffessional Star Wars comic book artist friend of mine look at this and he also said the front panel of the face is a little bit steep so I've changed that which changed the length of the "visor" a teeny bit. I've also added the gun suppressors. The side guns need some serious adjustment. Overall though, I'm feeling pretty good about it and I think it's going to be a lot of fun when I'm done. Modeling for me is probably the real fun part of C. I didn't have to go out and find an AT-AT model kit to build one! I'm putting hot points at the critical junctures with appropriate groupings to "articulate" the model. I'm getting ready for a scene! -Kix
