I would also like to see this. I think little is seen of what Imagine can really do. This would be a great place for users to share their works, techniques and ideas as well as see what other users of different 3d packages do. I use Imagine along with After Effects for multipass animation work. Clae
Well, I've been following the thread about this over on the IML for the past week or so and I think the decision to seek an Imagine gallery here is a good idea. Having been a decade long Imagine enthusiast myself, I think the users of this wonderful program are as deserving as any. You know, there is already a gallery here called - I think - Other Apps, which might be a place for people to begin posting Imagine works. Should a sufficient number of posts begin to appear, I think that might be a trigger for the admins around here to consider. Having been around this place through several iterations, the current version - Renderosity - seems very stable and for the most part receptive to proposals like this. Most members seem to have either no knowledge of or interest in Imagine, though this might be more a result of Impulse's --- err, low profile media wise than a reflection, negative or otherwise, of the program's capabilities which, as we know, are considerable. Quite, in fact. Just my thoughts. Larry F

I'd like to see a Imagine specific gallery at Renderosity too. I've been a member here for some years now, and usually put my Imagine related work to the Other Apps gallery. This would help to bring the Imagine user community back to live from years long hibernation. Something that happened to Vue when it had a specific gallery added here. Hannu Parviainen hannu@astro.helsinki.fi www.saunalahti.fi/~hpparviYep.. Me too.. Imagine has quite often been overshadowed by the big boys (Max, Lightwave etc..) but is actually capable of some extremely great rendering and a gallery here would be great as this appears to be the place for most things 3D. Also, what with all the object format converters on the market, I think it would be great to post free objects as well in obj format for both other imagine users and other 3D app users to use (3D Exploration will import imagine objs and export them as whatever (3ds, lwo etc.. etc..) So what are the chances of having a similar setup to the poser area for imagine.. Thanksfor listening
Hi All, I've been using the Other Apps section to upload some of my Imagine generated work, for about 6 months now (not many- the Amiga isn't that fast!)- though I had a clearout of some older stuff (deleted about 4 pictures). I think an Imagine area is definitely a great idea, for Imagine users (PC and Amiga) to showcase their often amazing work. Also, there are so many good models out there and, with the various 3D conversion packages available, it gives other software users, another source of often, hi-quality models. Thanks for reading, Kevin.

I also would like to see an Imagine gallery here. I have been a long-time user of it (c 13 yrs), and I think this would be great area to share output, models, etc. Thanks, BryanHi Kevin About the edit button, I havn't seen any move function. The only way I see to move pictures from one gallery to another one is to delete the picture and to reload it in the new gallery. Anyway, I download a steady 3 pictures a day when possible as many of you I guess. But once it' s downloaded, in the Other App gallery, there is no way to know that it has been done in Imagine unless to click on the picture and unless it is specifically written in the comments by the author. The result: there is no way to know how many "Imagine" related pictures are present in the diverse galleries. Nobody has an idea ? Richard
Hi Richard, To move a picture, whilst logged on, click EDIT, then, you'll get a page identical to the one you used to upload the picture. Then, just change the Gallery (I think) cycle gadget, and accept the changes. This way you can also add thumbnails, and alter the text, that goes with the picture. As to the other point, what about if the title of the picture is prefaced by 'Imagine'? For example: Imagine: PictureTitle Kevin.

I have been a user of Imagine (from Impulse) for over 10 years. It first came out for the Amiga computer but has been available for the PC for about 9 years. I would like to see a separate gallery for this terrific product. I belong to an Imagine discussion forum that has about 700 members and I know many of them would like to contribute to an Imagine gallery section. What say you all?
