i've been so impressed with Cake1's RealEyes, that i went and repurposed my entire CharacterEyes package--plus a couple of new ones--for RealEyes! i will be updating the present CharacterEyes download so that previous buyers get this update FREE. And new ones have something to look forward to! That's 31 re-created 1900x950 textures for RealEyes, PLUS the 33 regular Vicki textures. Price will remain at $10! While Curio's superb package has very high rez, very light, brilliant colors, CharacterEyes fills the need for dark, intense colors suitable for darker ethnicities. But it also has plenty of reds, blues, greens, golds, circuit board/cyborg patterns, alien greens, and Fremen blues. Here's Dark Hazel color in the RealEyes. My Kia character face (RealGrrls 1) and the stunning Kendra texture (Handspan Studio).

And here's the same character, but with the Iron color Character Eyes on the RealEyes props.

Aha! The tester elf (THANK YOU!) has given them the stomp of approval. Yes, "stomp." i am told that he jumped up and down on them all night long, and now Kia has black eyes. ((just kidding!)) So, off to marketplace they go! :^)

Can I see a render of the Fremen Blue eyes? heehee I'm so demanding. ;o)

nfredman ( ) posted Wed, 13 March 2002 at 12:31 PM

Of course you can, Nikita! You and Cecile inspired me. They're a slightly different take on them... one more aqua, one more blue. i'll render those off when i get home, which will be fairly soon... must go wait for repairman... You're getting us all on a Dune kick. :^D

nikitacreed ( ) posted Wed, 13 March 2002 at 3:05 PM

Thanks Nan! I do seem to have folks on a Dune kick don't I? Mike made me the Atreides uniform shirt AND is going to work on a Bene Gesserit Aba Robe...Davo made me a awesome fighting Mek (and all of his current creations are just perfect for this already)...Ajax whipped me up a crysknife and sent me his personal shield conforming figures....and Cecile saved me tons of postwork with her Dune Blue MAT. heehee At this rate...I'm going to have everything I ever needed to do a million Dune images. Now...if I could just get a darn sandworm. LOL! ;o) Seriously...I have gotten loads of support on my obsession with Dune from everyone. I have been wanting to create images from my most revered series of books since I first opened Poser. Without all these people helping me...I would still be stuck (I can't model a sphere! LOL!) Who says this community doesn't help each other anymore?!!? HAH! I beg to differ! =OD BIG THANKS TO EVERYONE!

Nikita-- Here's Fremen Aqua. i think we're used to this more cyan color due to the TV and movie. Edo's wearing them.

Here's Dune Blue--more violet hued, more subtle effect.

nikitacreed ( ) posted Wed, 13 March 2002 at 5:53 PM

Oooooh! Nice! Those will work great for folks with only a slight spice addiction. Thanks for the renders Nan! The textures look awesome! Well...more money spent..as soon as I have some. LOL! ;o)

Cin- ( ) posted Wed, 13 March 2002 at 8:25 PM

I'm an elf now?!

nfredman ( ) posted Wed, 13 March 2002 at 10:14 PM

Shhh... or you'll get dragooned by that Maury fellow as a second photography assistant. What's wrong with being an elf?

Cin- ( ) posted Thu, 14 March 2002 at 12:49 AM

My ears aren't pointy enough... and I'm too tall... and I don't look good in pointy shoes. ;) I'll be quite now.

nikitacreed ( ) posted Thu, 14 March 2002 at 1:04 AM

Quite what? heehee ;o)

Cin- ( ) posted Thu, 14 March 2002 at 1:06 AM

Just quite.

Xena ( ) posted Thu, 14 March 2002 at 5:40 AM

Quite a funny little elf of course ;P

nfredman ( ) posted Thu, 14 March 2002 at 7:34 AM

i dunno, those Tolkein elves were about 6 feet tall, and wore big boots. Sound like you? Pointy ears we can fix. BWAHAHahahahaaaa :^)
