Subject: Problems with Vickie and IK legs

Mason ( ) posted Wed, 13 March 2002 at 5:59 PM · edited Thu, 15 August 2024 at 9:22 PM

Whenever I turn IK on for Vicky her lower legs go haywire and either bend around behind her or to some other spot in the world. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a fix for this? This just happens to her legs.

Actually that is normal to some degree. IK chains can be irradic. I never use Ik chains in legs. Don't be too alarmed unless it keeps happening. try restarting Poser. Anton

Actually, for me anyway, it does always happen. It also happens with Steph. It has never happend with Mike though. I also have to end up turning IK off, too. I was hoping someone might know how to fix this too.

Oh. I always turn the Ik off. Most of us do. I don't know why they are turned on by default. Jusst turn them off.

Mason, are you moving the feet or the legs? With IK on, you only move the feet, the legs will follow. Although I agree with the others...I usually just turn IK off.

Well I use the IK to anchor the feet so I can swivell the hips with the feet stationary. It worked on P4 fem all the time. For Vicky the legs just pop around.
