Just caught this reflection in an old tire in the stream & quite liked it.

Wow! I just can't imagine how you made this, Is it just photo or a lot of postwork? I like to be puzzled by images :-) It is a beauty.

It's just a photo with no postwork!!! I'm not that clever ; )

Well then I think you are very clever, to capture it like that.

Ah Ha! Methinks thou doth protest too much! Though Art Both Clever and Full of Grace! ...and this is a great capture and image whichever way you look at it! (Which is sort of upside down at the moment) ;-)>

Very nice image!

It looks interesting that the silhouette of the tree trunk and the branches are texturised by the underwater dust and earth. The colorful silhouette against the duotone of the frame is very nice. If you also shot the round frame and the round reflection in full, would you also post it..?

wow..what a great shot...and what an eye....

Thanks for the comments all ; ) I was going to get another shot but the water had reached the top of my wellies & I was sinking fast, anyone have any waders going spare?!

:D nice indeed.

There's like three layers, tire, reflection and underwater stuff. I would rotate it 180, and maybe remove colors too. Really neat one. .n

AAAAA!!!11 ...and suddenly, its the tree from your nightmares! ...damn nice pic, well spotted. .n

Now, this is a beautiful and strong manipulation..! To see this in the above pic (which is beautiful for its own sake) is something..! Yet, you have to blacken a few stray speckles of white in the silhouette of the trunk... ;-)

Nice work but I really don't like the solid reflection somehow. The tire is really cool that colour.

Fascinating reflection... Great exposure too, with all that detail.

Faust-I ( ) posted Wed, 13 March 2002 at 11:42 PM

The manipulation is cool, and certainly has appeal. The tire is very interesting with the blue tint. I really like three layered effect of the original though.

Thanks Alpha & Ayer ; )
