Subject: The most inspiring work I've seen in a very long time, from an unlikely source

I posted a link to an image by Wyldesnake. As many know, I'm usually quite indifferent to 3D work. Not because I don't think its good or anything, just not my bag is all. This however has to be the best example of thinking outside of the box I've ever seen, at least in a long time. At the moment, people are in the chat room saying about how he could "fix" the mesh, change its size, change the colour, make the green uniform with everything else. I personally found a deep meaning with this image, and I rarely get that from any image from any style. If you cares to look, you may not find the "big deal" about it that I say there is , but that's alright. Personally, I think this is the best work I've seen in a long time, no matter how simplistic it may be. ry

You are right, it is very nice. Difficult to make something totally alien.

I agree too! I like this... this is cool. I have Bryce, but I'm fairly crap at it, but I'll keep trying! *Have you checked out Brendan's gallery? ~ some of the stuff he does with Bryce that is way outside of the box!

I agree Slynky....very cool stuff. Yeah...technically it could be better, but it's so different from the usual that I could stare at it for a long time and still be fascinated by it.

I am, therefore I create.......

You are right, Slynks. This is a powerful image. Its message is very deep

Thanks for sharing this, its somewhat inspiring in a wierd sort of way. I love how he made the illusion of motion blur.

I liked this too - made me smile, which is a pretty difficult thing to do at certain times right now. (",)
