Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 08 9:27 am)
A grape vine, an olive tree, cypress, and other Mediterranean plants are very much in need. If anyone knows where I can find them (free or otherwise) please point me in the right direction. Monique, I downloaded the plants at toucan but get all these strange triangles when I render in Poser. Is there some kind of trick to it? I tried exporting to .obj, running them through uvmapper, splitting vertices, welding them everything and those plants still refuse to render correctly. Anyone have any idea why? The only other time I've seen this happen is with Imagine objects, .iob of which I've got plenty but can't use in Poser.
Kalypso I had only used the toucan plants in Vue d'Esprit. I've just tried in Poser and I've got the same problem. Maybe if you export them from some other program like Bryce or Vue it will help. I had found the link for Toucan under one of Guitta Bertaud pictures . I'm going to ask on the Vue forum perhaps she has an answer And I agree with you I'd love to have some mediterranean plants cypress ,olive trees, laurel ,bougainvillea ect Monique
Kalypso, I had the same problem with some of them. What's happening is the mesh is showing up when used in poser and I don't have the slightest idea how to correct that. Not all the plants show up that way. If there is an easy fix for this, I sure wish someone would tell us because those plants a great looking.

Has anyone seen anywhere a grape vine either in Poser form, OBJ, or 3DS? I've already been to 3D Plants but they don't have any. I've searched alot of places but couldn't find anything. A flowering wisteria would be nice also. Hummm, maybe spanish moss too.
