hah, i beat yas to it!! ;) okay, this was (relatively) quick and (not quite) painless. i only changed the collars (read BOOBS) to use mike's uv coordinates. then i welded the edges of the chest back to where they belonged. that's all i did, i didn't mess with any side seams or hand seams or anything else. i just made her nipples come out straight. available now at my goodie page. :)

Geeze bloodsong, I thought you'd be too busy creating new mesh for such trivial things as remapping. :) Below are Stephanie to take unedited Vicki textures. you're welcome to it but... well, it seems daz may have updated something cos people who have downloaded her after the 11th can't decode it. i have to send an email to daz so i can re-download stephanie and see what the problem is. i just found out about it. anyhow, i've gotten feedback about the eyes and apparently they are not aligned high enough. the test textures i did it on were all natural, no inner eye detail to show this flaw! drats. so basically it's not ready yet. i'll work on it tomorrow night cos it's nearly midnight now in my timezone and i gotta go to work tomorrow... and i've drunk my share of the dark (ie. guiness) today in no condition to stare at vertices %} btw, anyone who got the remap already is welcome to do mods/fixes/etc so long as you distribute the result for free. :) very sorry for the delay! i hate teasers myself ;)

There is a note about this from DAZ in one of the problem report threads, you need to write to sales@daz3d.com to request an update.

heyas; when i loaded stephanie into compose, i got an error. so i loaded her in uvmapper and saved the obj out again. i wonder if this new thing is the error fix? whatever it was.

well i've fixed the face mapping, it's much better now, and got the email from daz to redownload, so tonight i will re-encode (hoping there were no mesh changes!) and upload and publicise the link, finally :)

Thankyou Bloodsong and April you are angels! I can't imagine the amount of work it takes to convert UVmapping like that. Your pictures look great! Interchangability with textures like that is a fantastic idea.

bloodsong, it was tedious, i guess that's hard for some but i'm patient... i would love the zoom function of pro... but my online spending has been cut off for the next 6 months. :( now if i earned money online then i can spend it online... 8) so do subject yourselves to my blatant product promotion on my artist page while you download StephVskin :) maybe i can earn enough to get uvmapper pro! lol

hmm, okay... ahh well :) you'd still wanna re-download this cos i fixed the eyes. now you have the latest everything! g btw, i got your email but kept forgetting to reply cos i'd get buried in uvmapper as soon as i skim emails... lol to answer your question: i did this with free uvmapper 0.25e
