Some asked for the program i did my plants with.I use xfrog and you can get a 30 day full working copy at www.xfrog.com You can export the plants as wavefront obj and they are uvmapped so you can use scanned leaves from flowers or trees, same is with the bark. And follow the link , there is another free one.Have fun :-))

Thomas, I tried the program and like Dirk and Alla...I was probably lost more than they were. I've seen some of the stuff done with it as the XFrog site and it is awesome. Could I ask you to do a couple special plants, Thomas?

Oh thank you for this plant...I'm going to have to do a greenhouse image to put them all in. :-)

My idea of rebooting is kicking somebody in the butt twice!

Did a search on Xfrog with Google and found this site. They have trees and indoor plants for free available among other formats in 3ds format which can be brought into Poser. Maybe you have use for it. To download the plants you have to select a thumbnail first an on the next page click on the big plant on the right side. To use it in Poser you have to import the 3ds file and apply the textures. The textures come as png and with transmaps (called alpha something.png). The attached image is a quick render to see how the flower will look in Poser. Not bad, I think :-) BTW, this is Cin's pot.

The demo is the fullworking program ,its only the timelimit of 30 days!!And so its possible to do the plants. But you really need some time to get good results and some things are really hard to understand.Yes, get the tuts, you are lost without. And sometimes its really surprising what happens if you turn one of the parameters a bit and everything looks different ( save often) or the whole plant explodes.

Ok, off to download the tuts :-)
