I was watching FoxNews, as always, and I think the CEO of Adobe was on, if I'm not mistaken, and he mentioned that "a new photoshop will come out in Quarter 2" I don't have Photoshop, but I may buy this one, if I can afford it. You folks plugged into Photoshop may already know this, but in case you dont . . . ben MessianicArt.com

Photoshop 7.0 is scheduled for a PC release in April. ac I am unsure, but prolly april as well. Photoshop 8.0 will have a few bug fixes, mainly in the menu system, and will arrive shortly after version 7, shipping in May of 2002, with a 250$ upgrade price.

??? Why would Adobe put out a buggy Photoshop 7 for one month, then release Photoshop 8? Am I missing something? :o(

Photoshop 6.0 is one of my most stable graphics applications and I have already pre-ordered the Photoshop 7.0 upgrade. I am especially looking forward to the new healing brush, which is supposed to be better than the clone stamp for repairing image flaws, the new image browser should be a great boon, and there's also new color correction tools. I already have Painter 7.0, but for people who don't have it or Deep Paint, the new natural media tools and brushes will be a welcome addition. I can't wait. Amazon.com has it for a lower price than direct from Adobe with with not shipping charges. Check it out!
