Hi all, I am now, just in the past three days, getting this error message everytime I close Vue4........does anyone know why? It does appear that the program is working and saves my "scene" as I left it, but this is quite annoying, if you know what I mean. (:

Glad you're still able to save okay, Genny. But that's a Microsoft message, not a Vue message, so I'm not sure what to suggest for you. Are you using XP? You may want to do the usual Windows stuff, like check your drives for errors, de-frag them. Then check if you're still getting this error message. I don't know if sending the report to Microsoft would do any good or not. It may be necessary to reinstall Vue.

Sometimes when my scenes get large, I'll get an error message when I close Vue 4.03 and 4.05. Most of the time the error happens when Vue tries to write the back-up save file. Charles :

I'm using Vue with WinXP, and I get that same error sometimes when I close the program. It doesn't seem to hurt anything, but it sure is annoying. I'm not sure what causes it, and I don't have a solution . . . I thought I'd just let you know that you're not the only one.

Yeah, that's an XP thing, for sure....very similar to the Internet Explorer 6 error report dialogue. I would have no idea what to suggest.

I once had a similar problem with Photoshop and Win98. Tore my hair out over it but couldn't fix it. Eventually it just stopped doing it. Never did find out what it was.

Thanks for all your replys everyone, it does make me feel better that I am not the only one and reassuring that it doesn't hurt anything. (: I am also using XP along with Vue4, since last November, so I don't know why this message is just now showing up.........oh well, I guess I can live with it. Genny

I would say, dont worry about that. Ive got the same problem in Win XP Pro. Vue works rock stable, just when I close program, I get this message. So I disabled error reporting in Windows and I see no errors. (and I really dont need to see it :) )
