Off topic-- I'm just wondering what the numbers mean on some of your nicks. Like Rork's 1973, or Misha's 883 (?-- oops I forgot, sorry) or bsteph's 2069, for example. Do you have a reason other than the nick was already taken, or was the choice of numbers just random? ... duh.. ... (*

Well, Rork was born in 1973, Bsteph wishes he had a comic like Spiderman 2099, so he calls himself Bsteph2069, and Misha is 883 years old. duh

LOL, good guessing :P The name 'Rork' is from a comic book I had, a long time a go..... :) So, how about explaining the rest of your nicks, not just the numbers ? ;)

I'm bummed that I haven't had the time to be so involved in the forum lately. I miss hanging out with you guys every day. I chose "Finder" because I Like nice, quiet viewfinder cameras. I first considered "Viewfinder", but figured that it would just get shortened anyway. I want to have a Leica or Cosina (Voitlander) someday - Maybe a Contax or Konica. I have a Yashica Electro35 now, but I was looking for ultimate lens sharpness, so I got an old Minolta SLR. There was still something wrong with enlargements, so recently I sold it, and got an old M42-mount body. Next I'll try an old Carl Zeiss Lens! Joe

Well, in the area of England I come from the people are known as Geordie's (pron. Jor-deez) because we (ie our forefathers) faught for King George against (I believe) the Scots..... Hence the term. I deliberately mis-spell it 'Jordy' so you foreigners pronounce it right..... (",)

OH. I was right slinky is naming himself after a shrank down wepon ( YO YO ). Actually ( and I could be wrong about this ) Misha is older than I am. 2069 will be my expected death date? Seriously it is the amount of time before my master plan reaches fruition! Uh HUNH, yes it is! Bwahaha Bsteph

Actually, when my ISP was AOL, it wouldn't take "Misha" alone. This was several years ago, so now I am a bit older than 883.

Well, I got my nick from the title of the rengga I co-wrote with friends from my now defunct performance poetry group. It's on the splash page of the link above. And surf around while you're at it. LOL

My first name is rohy, and its a coincidence its part of rohypnol, but I didnt like how rohypnol sounded so I added a H after the N to make it sound like rohyfnol, hence rohyphnol....I also met my first girlfriend with rohypnol...and...ok, thats a lie....

Hell Jordy, Jane's Mum comes from Clydebank (down the Clyde river a bit from Glasgow, for those that don't know the region) so I continually need internal subtitles running through my brain when she speaks! (especially when she gets excitable) :-)>
