The flames would need to be a seperate object that you could texture and move. hmmm, that would be a could idea for a freebie ;)

This is an emblem design I created. I might make some T-shirts or somthing with it. The Flame is hand drawn in Photoshop. ScottA

heyas; there used to be a fireball prop in the free stuff that worked well for dragon flames. bill bayard made it, so it might still be available at bbay.com. i don't think it is in the free stuff any longer :/

Tasmanet :) Is that the reason why dragons no longer exist? hehheheeh.. Bloodsong, thanks, I'll try to find it ^___^

Hi Ragnar, my new FX Pak for Poser includes two "Dragon Breath" effects. (One for firing a large breath of flames, and another for flames deflecting off a shield or wall etc.)

Hope this helps! :-)

Thanks everybody for your answers :) musicat: what you propose will work for a single shot (I think), but I'd like to animate my dragon and have him spit a fire ball.. thanks anyway :) In the link you'll find something that I did in Bryce with the Land Dragon by Lavendar. Fire breath made by applying fire texture to a stretched ball plus some smoke. I keep saying to her :"move.. move.." but she stays still. Not much power on female Dragons, I must admit ;)

Ragnar. Nice image! Love the composition and the eery mist at the dragon's feet. Great stuff! Dave :-)
