Content Advisory! This message contains nudity, violence

Hi, I'm new to 3D. I've chosen Bryce for scenery software, and Strata Studio Pro as my main renderer. What's the best format to import a model into Bryce so that all the model's textures are retained when rendered in Bryce? P.S. Any suggestions for sites or books of tutorials for Bryce and Strata would be appreciated. Thanks, Todd

I'd suggest you try petersharpe.com. There are about 30 simple Bryce tutorials there you can download in PDF format. Couldn't recommend a format, I always use wavefront (.obj). You gotta texture them yourself, but meshes are beautifully preserved. Good luck and have fun!!!

There's also an excellent series of tutorials at brycetech.com. Don't limit yourself to just the Bryce 5 tutorials, because there's no significant difference, in terms of learning the program, between that and version 4. I know, because I'm still a newbie myself - LOL!

Why have you set the nudity-violence flag for this question?

LOL. I'm new. I thought the "Adult Content" thing was just something you set to let others know what you're open to in regards to what you will view. I didn't know it was supposed to relate to the question. Like I said, I'm a newbie. Thanks for the info.

(grin) That's the funniest thing I've heard for quite a while.
