Subject: ATI problem

Recently I just got my hands on a Power Mac 8500. Well after plugging in the Radeon card and firing up RDS 5 did I open the Preferences window to set the Shaded Preview to use RAVE Hardware. However when I switch over the shaded preview do I get a message claiming there's 'No 3D hardware recognized'. Now when I had my other computer, I didn't come across this problem whatsoever. Is there any Mac folks in here that'd know how to get around this problem??

I though the Radeon card was only for AGP graphics slot & needed the G4 chip to run correctly. Does the card work with other apps?

Also, make sure that your monitors' color depth is set to "millions" or the card won't work.

They make PCI versions of them too, which is what I have currently installed on my computer.
