The picture is titled "1000 Years Later". I finished it, don't want to muck with it anymore, but am still not completely satisfied with it.

I did some post work, but it was mainly the removal of artifacts from Poser and Bryce.

Oh, yes. the wings were lifted from a model of a dragonfly at ... I don't remember, and can't find it anymore. I only remember that the guy who created them was called Jose.

Then, there are also those small plants from Chemical Studios and 3dplants.com.

I like it... but. The fog is a little too thick around the base and I'm not sure about the (Faerie?)'s texture, the face and eyes seem to disapear... Love the trees, too.

Thanks. Yes, the fog is definitely a problem, but reducing the thickness doesn't really work, and I think a volumetric sphere with cloud texture would add much to rendering time. It's already too big because of the wings. (I put a higher reflectivity, so they stand out more.) I'll try with plop render, though. The texture is intentional. It's a mixture of something with leopard procedural. Mimicry. :-)

Are his eyes closed? If so, then okay, but if not, you might want to texture them seperately; maybe some blazing emerald pupils? :-)

PPS: to paraphrase Bill Munns (http://www.billmunnsgallery.com) render times are the price of quality... Must be nice to have a lot of spare time! (Or a spare computer just for renders!)

Well, the figure is not exactly perfect. I forgot to open eyes more, and later it was too late as I already invested too much time in the scene to import a new figure. So I faked with the yellow and the scar. And don't talk me about a new computer. :-) I just finished paying this P4 1.7/512 RAM. BTW, this is the first complete picture I made.
