Subject: questions on rendering

2 questions: 1) when I put a texture wrap on my poser figure, why are their nipples not covered up from the texture? 2) How do I get a white texture wrap to render? Whenever I render it renders as invisible. These are probably simple to answer but I'm a rookie. Thanks.

  1. When you import the texture, are you clicking the little box that says it applies to the entire figure? 2) When you say "invisible", does that mean the entire figure disappears? If that's the case, then look at the transparency settings in the materials box and make sure both are set to zero.

1)Nope. I wasn't clicking on the little box that said apply to entire figure. Thanks. 2)The costume I am trying to render is black and white. The white parts are showing up as transparent. I do not have any transparency maps turned on.

  1. Okay, then what you do there is look at those parts of the costume and make sure they're not given any transparency settings in the materials box. Transparencies don't need a map; you just simply tell poser you want this or that body part to disappear. Same with clothing: you can make a particular part disappear by applying the transparency fall-off to it. So, isolate the white parts by selecting them and seeing what they're called under the Poser window, find out what hierarchal names have been given to them, and check their trans fall off settings.
