Ok, after banging my head against the keyboard for several hours/days, I've decided to give this forum a shot (I know I know, shoulda come here sooner right? :) Anyway, the problem, as you can see above, the alligator model i'm trying to get poseable is giving me fits. Originally, the arm would seperate from the body when I moved it, I fixed this by making the arm only connect to the torso, instead of the neck AND the torso. But a new problem crept up. At any rate, what you see is the torso moving in weird directions when the arm moves. The actual split between the torso and arm is pictured above, and I figured that if it had to move any part of the torso, it would move that little bit that sticks out of the torso, not the whole damn thing. As well, it's splitting from the neck when it moves, WTF! Any help would be greatly appreciated! -Syn

Have you looked at the figure building section of the P4 manual?

I'd reccomend setting up a spherical blend zone. Just remember, everything outside the Red sphere is immobile, everything inside the green sphere moves with the joint, and everything inside the red but outside the green is where the fun stuff happens. You want to make sure that the blend zone (the area between the spheres) ends before it reaches the border of the next body part.
