I've been working on these guys for a big. Please note the render is NOT done in Poser, but In Flamingo. I have yet to actually UV map these guys, so I don't have a texture yet. I'm simply looking for input on the actual models, and I'm looking to see how many people would be interested in these. How would you like them to look? Anything you would like added? I'm not even done making these guys poser-ready, so I'm making sure that I get them right before I even think about starting down that road ;) .

They are so stunningly weird. Are the arm(?fin?) sections subdivided in any way so they undulate? Or are they joined as straight-line items? And what's Flamingo?

hey that looks pretty cool :) alien spider :) going to add some texture maps to it to give variation? how much you looking to sell it for?

VirtualSite: No, the arm/fin/tentacles are just one item. Since this is my first real model, I'm going to have to experiment with the best way to make them posable. I took a look at some of Davo's models, (he's a big inspiration), and he seems to do some of them this way...I hope. He explained it breifly, but it shouldn't be any problem to go back and remake if I did it wrong.

Oh yeah...to VirtualSite's other question, Flamingo is a plugin for Rhino3d. It's basically just a port of Accurender for Rhino. It's a really great renderer with radiosity and what not.... www.flamingo3d.com

Would anyone actually want these enough to pay for them, though?
